Restaurant Jasper is a fine dining destination, serving French
cuisine with American innovations. We are a BYOB located
in the heart of Downingtown, PA. Chef/Owner Nick DiFonzo
has been cooking for over 17 years in various fine dining
establishments throughout Chester, Delaware, and
Montgomery counties.
Chef DiFonzo's creative style harmonizes his French-based training with a fusion of American
inspiration and imagination. The menu changes frequently in order to pair the chef’s ideas with the best available local
ingredients. Restaurant Jasper’s artfully renovated, 1920’s
Victorian-style building is the perfect setting for an inviting dining experience,
whether for your weekly evening out, a business meeting, or an anniversary celebration.
In preparing each entree and appetizer, Chef DiFonzo hand-selects locally grown vegetables and premium ingredients.
His expertise with classic French culinary techniques is evident in such DiFonzo creations as
crisp-skinned bronzini (Mediterranean sea bass); spinach sautéed with escargot,
grilled croutons, and golden raisins; as well as
rye-bread crusted smoked salmon cheesecake paired with onion confit.
